These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Universal Tv Remote on iOS and Android. By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
The iOS version of Universal Tv Remote is published by Shakeel Raziq. The Android version is published by Star Services. References to "we," "us," or "the developer" below refer to whichever entity published the version of the app you installed.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Universal Tv Remote on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and the applicable App Store or Google Play terms of use.
Universal Tv Remote is free to download. Certain features are available through weekly, monthly, or yearly plans, a lifetime purchase, or a one-time unlock, all billed through the App Store or Google Play. All billing, refunds, and cancellations are handled by Apple's or Google's payment systems — we don't process payments directly and can't issue refunds ourselves. Prices are shown in the app before any charge is confirmed, and we do not charge you for anything you haven't explicitly confirmed.
Where offered, a one-time unlock permanently unlocks the listed features on your account with a single payment and no recurring charge. If you reinstall the app or switch devices, Restore Purchase recovers the unlock through your App Store or Google Play account. Subscription-based plans are auto-renewing unless cancelled before their next renewal date; you can cancel at any time from your App Store or Google Play account settings.
The app controls Smart TVs it finds on your local network and only shows controls that have been confirmed to work with the connected TV model. Because TV support depends on the device itself and your home network, we cannot guarantee every TV model or network configuration will work. We provide reasonable effort to support commonly available Smart TVs but disclaim any warranty of universal compatibility.
You agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile, resell, or misuse the app; not to use it to control devices you don't have the right to control; and not to attempt to bypass the app's licensing, purchase, or subscription mechanisms.
The app is provided "as is." Remote-control functionality depends on your TV, your router, and your local network. We make reasonable efforts to keep discovery, connection, and control reliable but disclaim all warranties, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app, including any interruption to TV control, connection drops, or failure to control a particular device.
We may suspend or discontinue the app or specific features at any time. You may stop using the app and cancel any subscription at any time through your App Store or Google Play account settings.
We may update these Terms as the app evolves. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
